Booklets
For the 500 Anniversery of Sikhism, I was lucky enough to work as the official designer of the informational booklet for this occasion. This peice is a small booklet, the cover has a die cut area in the middle and many peices of famous Sikh art work, used with permission, throughout the peice. The booklet was presented at the White House during a gala, and was also sent as a study primer piece on Sikhism for awareness to ambassadors, governors, and heads of state around the country and the world.

Videography
Most of my video work is interview style for low profile pieces but, I have had the chance to coordinate large video projects for entertainers while running Shockwest and working at the Latin Ballet, some of that footage will be used in tv and documentary. One notable piece is the petwalker interviews which will be used as testimonials in an upcoming product launch. I’ve done a lot of small projects with Virginia21 most for show on the web or at awards events. I’ve also done a little work for area churches, Area 10 and Journey Christian Church ( formerly known as Countryside) I’ll be uploading them as I archive them online. Many of these pieces hard short deadlines (as in a day or two) and most were created by either final cut pro or iMovie.

Proposal Covers from Jacobs Engineering
These are some of my proposal winning covers. Yes proposal winning, I had a 85% win rate. One cover actually help win a bid, I know this becasue the client told me so and I got an commendation from the VP of Sales.

YRichmond
I’ve been called in to to do many projects for YRichmond. Some of these, such as the website, have been done in junction with Jeff Pollard, a fantastic web developer and forum expert. What has really held strong through all the design work that I’ve done for YRichmond is the “daylight-night in black and white” photo. It has become the de-facto brand identity for all of these pieces and gives it a nice feel where you can’t quite tell if it was taken at night. In reality it was taken at dawn, when the christmas lights were still on but then I subjected it to a few filters and dropped the photo into black and white to get the current effect.

Logos
I love doing logos, but it’s a dog eat dog world out there. It’s almost impossible to compete with online 50 – 300 dollar logo services. However, I’ve been lucky to do a couple dozen of them over the years. Here’s a few.

The Voice of a Generation Awards
Virginia21 started a new signature event where we give out an award and recognition to the 2-year and 4-year schools that have done the most or most innovative grassroots work in the last year. We decided to call them the Voice of a Generation awards and the at work turned out awesome. It’s a play off the American idol tv show. There are also videos that go along with this that I will post shortly.

Invitations
I have done many invitations for birthdays, weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, political shindigs, church events, and a host other events. Here are some of my favorites. I especially kike Mike and Sarah Engagement party, as it became a keepsake for the couple. That is a photo of mike proposing, and we had everyone write in their favorite proposal lines. and bring them to the party, they were so clever and sweet. Not all of these went to print, some were just ideas that will be flushed out for future projects but I wanted to show a range of thoughts.

Voter Registration Posters
We have a need to make posters for all of our campus chapters, most of these posters are 2ft x 3ft, but some are only letter size. Most of the ones we do are for specific voter registration campaigns, but every once in awhile I get special requests form a campus chapter that wants to do somethign special, such as the Halloween poster. Here is a sample of the many types of posters I’ve done for voter drives.
The Political Superhero is one of my personal favorites.
I’ve changed the action slogan many times to fit different scenarios.

21 days of Virginia21
This was a new membership and “get the word out” campaign. We ask our chapters to take 21 days and run various events during that time and really push the image out there. This was a cross media campaign run on a very tight budget. One of the more unique things we did was ask people to change their profile pic with the VA21- 21 days logo for the 21 days.
